Streak Week! This was another geocaching challenge launched into the wild by the fine folk at geocaching.com headquarters. The mission here was to find one geocache per day from August 25th – August 31st to earn a geocaching souvenir!
The first one found on August 25th was along this rock wall near my home, another excuse to visit an area I had not actually explored yet. There is a pond nearby with a pathway going all the way around, which I will walk some day:
The seven caches I found in seven days, some were close to home, some had to drive to, and one took me over to Carseland, Alberta. I actually went camping there again for the long weekend, so I was already nearby:
Dropped off a couple trackables in one of the caches along the highway for someone to hopefully take them south, out of town… Cache on!!
I thought one of the caches I drove to was going to be at a truck weigh scale station. It turned out to be a field with this pole, a real fun find:

Got my Streak Week souvenir!! I actually did 10 days in a row, found at least one cache every day from August 22 – August 31 which I believe is my longest caching streak to date!
