Bottle Logic Brewing: BlizzCon Brews!!

By

BlizzCon had Bottle Logic Brewing, a local craft brewery in Anaheim to help us celebrate the World of Warcraft and Warcraft anniversaries!!  I did not expect to be able to sample some craft brews during my BlizzCon adventures, so this was a very pleasant surprise!!  I found it super cool too that Bottle Logic had a beer truck on hand, just like a food truck, and all the taps were built directly into the side of the truck for easy serving!  I haven’t seen anything like this in my travels as of yet, so this was AWESOME!!

There were a number of different brews available to try, and I did sample all the Warcraft ones.  There was one Diablo (Blood Oath) and one Starcraft (Power Overwhelming) as well, which I unfortunately didn’t get to sample.  I didn’t see them until Saturday afternoon and had already stocked up on the Murky IPA, which was the easiest one on the taste buds, in my opinion.  Maybe I’ll find the missed ones again on future trips to Anaheim or elsewhere!

The first ones I sampled were the Murky Hazy IPA which really was hazy looking, and the Thunderbrew Imperial Brown Ale.  The Thunderbrew is apparently from World of Warcraft’s 10th anniversary celebration and I found it very sweet tasting, almost like maple syrup or molasses, haha. Not my forté but managed to get it down. 7.5% ABV.  Whew!  The Murky is a BlizzCon 2019 exclusive and brewed for Warcraft’s 25th anniversary.  It was definitely an IPA and quite hoppy, with 6.5% ABV.

Next up were brews in honour of World of Warcraft’s 15th anniversary and suddenly the Thunderbrew seems like a much better alternative!!  I found out later why I wasn’t overly fond of the Ironfoe or the Mak’gora: Both are bourbon barrel aged and 14.5% ABV…  YAAARRRRRRRRR!!!!  They must be good though, as I overheard other fans saying they were great… I don’t know how I managed to get them down, I guess the small portions came in handy here…  FOR AZEROTH!!!

Got a close-up of the taps coming out of the truck…. EPIC!!

Dear Bottle Logic, I was thrilled you were at BlizzCon 2019 with your Warcraft and World of Warcraft specific brews.  I was super stoked to be able to get more information about them on Untappd.  I hope to visit your brewery on a future trip to Anaheim!!
