To be fair, only the first few days were with no sun, the rest of my stay was bright and beautiful, and warm. And the sun was out the evening I arrived, just before it went down. But this is a big deal to me because it’s my first time ever staying at a resort in Mexico, and I expected sweltering heat and sunny blue sky… even in February! I guess I was led astray by the masses who have visited Mexico a gazillion times, or maybe I just wished for the heat, extreme heat!
These pictures are from the front and back of the resort I stayed at, the Friendly Vallarta in Puerto Vallarta. The first couple days were still fun, and despite the clouds it was mostly warm. It did try to rain a few times, but nothing worth worrying too much about. The ocean shoreline could have been calmer at any point during my 12 day visit, although I vowed to go into the ocean at least once before leaving, which I did do!!
