Did some camping with friends during August long weekend at good ol’ Carseland campground. We have been here before, and it is a favourite because it is close to home for everyone. It’s roughly a 35 minute drive from my house!
Got a double site, as we needed to fit four tents in this spot. Well, three tents on the ground plus mine:

Nothing too adventurous or exciting happened on this trip, it was simply a nice and peaceful quick getaway, sitting around all day chatting and catching up with everyone’s lives… Very limited electronics. We’re planning to do it all again for September long weekend, which will be the last camping excursion of the year… Winter is coming!!
