Did an excursion while in Puerto Vallarta. My aunt and I decided we were going to swim with dolphins and get up close and personal with a sea lion.
We took a cab there which was approximately a 25 minute drive each way. As terrifying as it was (following real close at high speeds, darting in and out of lanes), you get a much better idea of how the traffic flow works. Still glad I didn’t have to drive while there!

The water in the dolphin pool is as blue as it looks in these pictures! The whole park was beautiful and only a thin pier separated the dolphin pool from the open ocean around us. The dolphins could have easily jumped the pier if they really wanted to, they weren’t caged in at all. Oh and there was a monkey too!
Got to ride with the dolphins while they were on their stomachs and backs. It was real fun and not hard to hold onto at all. The most frightful part was having to jump into the pool from the pier at the beginning of the whole thing. I betcha it’s been 25+ years since I’ve put my head under water, and I don’t swim!

They put on a bit of a show for us afterward:

Here is the sea lion adventure, she was super friendly!!

Fun times all around!!
