Got five smilies (Found It!) and one sad face (Did not Find) on my geocaching map during this summer stroll through Sue Higgins Dog Park in SE Calgary. It was a very warm day but the doggies and their humans were out in full force, and we (the folks and I) met many friendly pooches along the way!
Managed to get a bird pic first, this magpie perched in the trees. It looks pretty camouflaged here and almost can’t be seen but is beautiful nonetheless:

Onward to the park! The pathways were real nice, I love the wooden walkways over the bridges:

In the background on the other side of the Bow River we can see the community of Quarry Park:

There were lots of ‘puppies’ enjoying the cold river on this hot day:

Spoilers! The geocaches we found, but which ones are where?? One of them involved going off the beaten track, but it was a fun one to get to in the end!
I love this park bench with the dog statues, who wouldn’t? The plaque says it’s part of the City of Calgary civic art collection, gift of the Devonian Group of charitable foundations:

All in all it was another fun day outdoors!
