“Stay on target, almost there!” The final stretch actually went by real fast, thankfully! Pit stopping in Canmore for fuel and a break at Timmies may have helped, as I feel like I’m already at home in Calgary, AB once I reach Canmore from anywhere west of it.

Stopped for one last geocache along the way. This travel bug hotel is just outside Calgary, and a fun and easy one it was!! I had one last travel bug to drop off so did that, and picked up two more, just what I need, haha 😛

And THIS. THIS!!!! (See below) As far as Calgary goes, I regularly rant and rave about how it’s always sunny in the sunny south, especially to people who live in the north. Not that they disagree or anything… 😛 But here it is, proof that I don’t make this stuff up!! I’ve seen this view before too, but now I have it captured forever!! This picture is heading eastbound toward Calgary on the Trans Canada Highway, aka 16th Avenue North once you’re actually in the city. LOOK AT THAT! Pouring rain in the north and blue sky in the south!! This picture is EPIC, to me anyway…

Total distance covered between June 26 – July 14, 2019, just shy of 7,500 km:

I may have acquired a few patches along the way:

Aaaaaand that’s a wrap!! Summer road trip 2019 complete!! Productive, successful, I’m alive and well, and an adventure it was. Did I mention I soloed the entire thing??! OH YEAH I DID!!
