Micro Bar was a wonderful little venue I visited in Reykjavik, they had quite a few craft beers on tap, including some from the Icelandic brewery Gæðingur.
I tried #3 on the board, the Jarpur classic lager. I’m not big on lagers but gave it a go when the bartender recommended it after I asked what he had for ambers or reds. It was sooooo good! 5 out of 5, 6 out of 5 even! Light, but still strong enough to have a great taste about it. My pint glass is only half full in the picture below because I almost forgot to take one, haha. Check out the Brewery Tour pic, as it gives more info about the local brewery, hopefully it’s readable!
I would have loved to have tried more of the beers in this bar, but my time was limited and I wanted to keep my wits about me. They had flights of 5 and 10 sampler trays. The sampler glasses seemed bigger than what we have here in Canada, but maybe I imagined that, I don’t know. All I know is I want to go back!

5 stars, would go again!
